I cant go back to my PS3 since I bought and assembled my first custom PC last year, everything just looks so washed out and muddy graphically on the PS3. Also PC games are cheap, I've bought over twice as much games on my computer than on PS3. I also like the fact that I can customize my games with mods. I prefer shooters with KB+Mouse and I love my strategy games and I can allways put on my PS3 controller and use Xpadder if I want to use it. So I suppose I'm part of the PC is better crowd, I don't troll about it too much though. It just offers so much and you can get all the juice out of your PC for gaming if you can do some tweaking.

I'm still going to grab a PS4 for a few exclusives possibly

New consoles just bring out the insecurities of PC gamers.

I suppose it could, but the situation isn't very similar. PS4 has some good specs, games look great, PC gamers have to assert that PC graphics will always look better at each and every opportunity. Not sure how it could apply to Sony fans, unless your talking about Wii U and PS3 graphical comparisons (because it's sad/funny to think PS3 versions of games would look better than Wii U versions).

I was about to post something similar to this.  I guess it's not okay for PC gamers to harp on how better their graphics are compare to the PS4 but it's okay for them to do the same about the PS4 graphics compare to the Wii U.  If you don't like it then don't do it yourself.  By the way, I think the PS4 is awesome and console games are going to look AMAZING on it!  One day, when I can afford a next gen console, I will buy one.

i think console users are more annoying  bashing other consoles. A lot of them are also intimidated by PC experience because they will get pwned!

But not as system memory and never up to 8GB in total. Which, since they are clueless about what it really means, they just know how to spell by memory all 17.274 different CPU and GPU model codes in the market, it causes the PC trolls much discomfort.

To me the PC trolls are like those spoiled (and ugly) kids with a lot of expensive toys whom nobody wants to play with, because the others prefer to play football between friends with a cheap plastic ball. Kind of a sad image, to be honest.

That's because using GDDR5 for CPU use would be stupid since it's less effective then DDR3 for CPU use and more expensive.

Had Sony been planning 8 Gigs of Ram from the start they likely would of went with 4GB of GDDR5 and 4 of DDR3. 

The upgrade is likely just going to inclde bigger sticks of GDDR5 in the slots the original 4GB were going to be.

Also, the insults would be over the top even if you knew what you were talking about.

4 Gigs of DDR3 system ram with 4GB of GDDR5 video ram more then makes up for 8GB of GDDR3 unified ram.

DDR3 Ram is generally better for CPU use then GDDR5 is.  (Let alone when DDR4 comes out.)

GDDR5 is just DDR3 ram that's redesigned to work better for GPUs... and is worse for CPUS.

Most likely when they went with GDDR5 in the design Sony had planned to use more GPU Ram with the CPU as a bottleneck.  Developers told them they eneded more CPU ram so they upped to 8GB late in the game, unable to change the design just doubling the slots.

It's the only explination for them not using ANY DDR3 ram, since the GPU is weaker then the Titan, and the Titan only uses 6GB of GDDR5.

It's likely why people think the additional GDDR5 will be used for non GPU reasons though it could of been the GPU just wasn't using maxium ram to begin with.

Using GDDR5 ram in a PC would be jut stupid even if you had an integrated graphics card.  

Does the Ferrari 458 Italia passing you on the highway upset you about your Honda Civic or are you simply satisfied to have reliable transportation with many of the same features: climate control, power seating and windows, etc?
