In an interview with CNBC SCEA president Jack Tretton said that PS4 games will range from $0.99 and free-to-play to $60, when asked if a $600 console with $60 games was still viable on the market. While not a definite answer on what the price will be on AAA titles next generation it is an indication prices will remain roughly the same as this generation.

Tretton also ruled out a triangular PS4 and said it would most likely be something rectangular and made out of plastic.

Yeah. I think Nintendo's own games are still $50, though.

no increase is great news!

i also like their wide range statement. while practically that probably means things will be the same as this gen i just like the though or more games launching with a budget price. some games really only deserve a $40 price tag a launch.

For multiplats I would assume much less man power will be needed, if the XB3 really has similar tech. As for First party games, I think they already had massive art bugets, and now they will just be able to utilize more of the assets and, with less work to get them to work in game.
