You seem to have this idea that every CEO should be a data Nazi and must know exactly what the shipments are BY THE WEEK!

The interview was a ballpark estimate kind of vibe. And again, he has no idea how much 360 shipped in the same period. As of the last quarterly results, 360 still has more shipped. You, give it a rest.

If this is true your admitting the PS2 is dead and the DS will pass it. If not then the 360 is still ahead and this is false

its very funny how you just came up with this ball park estimate, you just decided that was the case because he said "i think". well guess what, he "thinks" that because of the data he has because he is a CEO. and you said it, he doesnt know MS's numbers, thats why he didnt say which one sold more. he did say thats its basically splitting hairs after all

Here's a question. If you guys think this is a real figure, why even come here? If that figure were real, that all but confirms that vgchartz numbers are completely wrong and nowhere near correct (which I guess is possible but I'd like to think their numbers are at least in the ballpark of accurate).

Key word is he said "he THINKS" they have shipped 77 million. Another key word is "shipped." It is highly possible that PS3 could have in fact SOLD 73-74 million and have another 12 or 3 million sitting around.

Well 77 mn ideally shipped. If someone refers to only Wikipedia, they would believe PS3 surpassed 360 way long back. Actual sales figures are lesser IMHO.

EDIT:just referred to Wiki again and now it's updated to this...so efforts to reach a consensus. LOL.
