It may be a bit premature to discuss, yet, but comparison in power or graphics was/has, is, and will always be a subject when it comes to gaming.

what did say that was wrong, reality is nintendo made weak hardware, why is it being compared to a console 10 x more powerful, when it hasn't even delivered games better looking then the best of currentgen..

all that adds to at least 10x more powerful in real world numbers., nothing is bottle necked.


Don't believe everything you hear.  There are many holes in the DF findings. I do note developer issues at least initially with the cpu. As times goes on I think you will see it has a bit more bite than it's bark.  As far as on paper the Wii U memory may look to be bottlenecked but, it isn't. How many developers have you heard complain about memory bandwith?  I doubt you can find 2 which would be reasonable but, I doubt you would find any. I still bet very few games will look much better than the Wii U ones.

Well obviously we all know what console has the graphical edge from a sheer horsepower perspective. I think what people are asking is more about the art style of the games.

And really, the PS4 games don't exactly looks WORLDS better than Wii U to be honest. So I don't see why the question shouldn't be posed.

The Wii U might be a huge failure given its terrible performance and support so far. I'd be very thankful if it ends up a close third.

Ok, lets look for example at the PS4 now. Its not backwards compatible, it will be crazy expensive with that RAM and eye-toy bundled, most games will be available on the 360/PS3, the graphical leap is hardly noticeable, and none of the revealed titles made much of a splash. Who do you think is gonna take the leap on this device come next christmas, instead of getting a PS3 for the great library of games and GoW Ascension and Last of us for example? What reason is there to get one besides fans? The PS4 will see sales just like the Wii U does now. Decent launch, then sales will drop like crazy until the old consoles stop getting all the games, wich seems unprobable as 3rd parties need to sell 1 million + to justify the investments. Whats the safe bet?

On the other hand, picture the Wii U with a lower price point, new 3D mario, mario kart and zelda WW this christmas (besides some multiplatforms aswell like watch dogs). Really, must i spell it out to you?

The world isnt anxious to jump in on a new console generation. There is no visible benefit to do so. Only hardcores are anxious to get a new console, but it will be left gathering dust for a year as usual. The world is in a crisis, not many people can find an excuse to spend 400-600 dollars/euros on a dust gathering box.
