hmmm honestly I think that unfinished demo of killzone looked more impressive. that Cyrsis 3 footage didnt seem to be running as smooth.

well according to the description he capped it to 30fps so his msi thingy could record it lol.

I guess he spend his money on the video cards instead of some extra towards a capture device.

The level of detail in Crysis 3 looked better than Shadowfall to me; the individual blades of grass that are pushed out of the way, for instance.

That said, Shadowfall is an unfinished launch window game, so there's room for improvement, but at present I found it looked simpler.

You're becoming obnoxious. I know new consoles bring out in the insecurities in the self proclaimed master race, but it's sad.

I'm sorry, but PC games look way better. No need for insecurities, just look at those low-res normal-maps, looks like they got that screen straight out from a Vita game.

People are really getting riled up after the PS4 announcement.
Yes PC games can already look next-gen, but at a huge cost.

This is alpha footage. It will get exponentially better once it goes Gold.

Also keep in mind that Sony only recently upgraded the PS4 to 8GB GDDR5 so this was running on only 4GB. Now that PS4 devkits are probably final, devs can get the most out of the PS4.

Lol, you can't be serious. You can find spots in Crysis that don't look awesome either...
Now look at the detail of the characters, the smoothness, the plants right there etc.

Now look at the low poly count of the characters, the low res plants. Sure, Crysis doesn't look awesome everywhere, but with a PC, you have a more powerful hardware to back it up in terms of effects and textures. There's nothing in Crysis 1 that looks like that screen, because the normal maps and textures actually look better in the 2007 game.

yes PC will always look better. yes at a cost. Very very good investment in the long term regardless.

* I make love to my PC and Wii-U at the same time.

Agreed. But that screen was released anyway by Sony, so I was just saying that based on the screen released now, not on the release date of the Killzone game, that PC games/Crysis 3 look much better, at least technically. Which is a fact now, but may change in the future.

Instead of individual blades of grass, it had individual skyscrapers

Thousands of individually animated blades of grass are a bit more technically demanding. ;) Not to put down Shadowfall in that respect, the city draw distance is still truly impressive.
