But now MS can get their grimy hands all over Sony's specs. That's exactly what Sony didn't want.


1. I don't know anything about electronics manufacturing, but I would assume that if you plan on launching in 9 months (which I'm betting MS is) you would need to have your specs pretty much locked down already.  I'm also guessing this because no doubt development is pretty far underway on 1st/3rd party titles, and they need to know the specs more than 9 months in advance.  Again I'm only speculating, if anyone actually knows please correct me on manufacturing procedures.

2.  Didn't they only really reveal the RAM?  No other specifics were mentioned.

 

What I'm trying to say is, I don't think MS could really glean any usable details from the presentation.
