Why would they show a price? So Microsoft can see and then they can price their consoles lower? Why do they need to show the console? Where did you read that said the console will be unveiled? What the hell is E3 for? Are we just gonna go to E3 and get to watch Jack Tretton dancing on the stage for an hour and a half? Jesus some peoples expectation for this reveal were WAY too high. We got Killzone which looked absolutely stunning and incredible. We got inFamous Second Son which, again, looked stunning. Got a brand new racing game called Drive Club and we also got reassurance from third party developers that they will develop brand new games for the PS4. We also got system specs as well as a look at the brand new controller. If you were expecting a console reveal, you set yourself up for disappointment.

They still have plenty of time to announce that stuff later. Oh and E3

price?seriously? that is NEVER shown at console reveals!! hard drive space is related to price somewhat so its better to show that with the price.
but not showing the console was weird. but GENIUS! this way they can blow up hype and the internet and continue the momentum of the hype by showing it later on

The hell are you talking about. Why would they announce the price so early? Its february, its not coming out for another 8-9 months. Obviously, the disc format is Bluray and there will be an hdd.
