However Im seeing some of them openly attacking Nintendo and MS saying they have no chance against Sony/PS4.  Those are the ones Im talking about.  They are overconfident considering we know nothing about next gen yet


You say that as if this were some new thing. Its just another round of console wars and since I walk this earth it was like this when it comes to consumer electronics and a hyped audience.

Why would you even point it out I would be honestly worried if there were no verbal attacks on the other team. Its like a sports game to some.

Except with PS4 they won't do let Microsoft release a whole year earlier or be priced cheaper. Now, I'm not saying PS4 will dominate, but I'm just saying that comparing PS4 to PS3 is pointless. Sony knows people won't flock to their console, they won't make the same mistakes twice.

As I said before, I don't think Sony sees the mistakes we see as "errors"

Vita is somethign else. Sony obviously doesn't understand the portable market. The home console market they do understand. In fact, I'm sure they wont' repeat the 1-year headstart or the huge price difference. Those 2 alone really killed them this gen, and without those 2 mistakes they have a chance to be market leader.

its still better when nintendo fans predicted that the WiiU will be "the PS2" of the generation. we all know how that ended. but my point it, when a certain console is being released or announced, its fans will get excited and overconfident, just look at those vita predictions but there isnt too much harm in the thing, let them be.

btw im not trollin either WiiU or vita, im just pointing out than fans do get over confident when a console is still being announced and released

I think people are just really excited, it's fun to get on the hype train. I don't think people would bet money on what they're saying, they're just saying it to get in on the fun, this hype has brought people together in a hilarious gif-inducing way. Lighten up mang!

I guess it is normal just gets to me sometimes.

Im fine with hype.  Im fine with threads that are talking about how much people cant wait for new games and hardware.

I dont like when people claim victory and are completly negative about things when they arent even announced yet
