its still better when nintendo fans predicted that the WiiU will be "the PS2" of the generation. we all know how that ended. but my point it, when a certain console is being released or announced, its fans will get excited and overconfident, just look at those vita predictions 
but there isnt too much harm in the thing, let them be. 
btw im not trollin either WiiU or vita, im just pointing out than fans do get over confident when a console is still being announced and released
