it all depends on gakai. if they do it right and have great games on gakai that anyone with a good internet connection can stream i can see this take off. its what i have been waiting for.

I think it will have all the PS3 library (PS2/PS1 are in PSN) plus some PC games... I think that's a pretty good library.

the fuck? 89$ a year is WAY to much!

wut? US$7,5/month is way too much?

If it's like Netflix but with games then it will be fine.

I'm just glad the online gaming is still free since that keeps this premium service entirely optional.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

$90 is way too much as the only paid service available. They should sell GK and PS+ subs individually, with bundled versions for better value on offer if you want both.

PS+ = $50
GK etc. = $50
Bundle = $80-90

edit: changed prices

It wouldn't be all the PS3/PS2/PS1 libraries. It will be the ones that Sony can get on the service. The reason why is copyright issues, which is the same for NIntnendo's VC. Sometimes you don't know who owns the publishing rights in certin areas any more, some companies don't exist, and when they do there are bank who want to be paid a big flat sum so a company can have rights to the publishing. I would only expect around 10% of each console's library. A good example would be Darksiders Sony can't just put up the two titles and call it a day. The bank handling THQ's holdings would need to be paid, so I would not expect any of THQ's titles to be on the service.

PS+ = $40
GK etc. = $40
Bundle = $70

right now they are charging 50 for psn+ so i don't think they will charge ps+ for 40 on ps4
