I don't get why they would bring a game out now (other than money of course).  They can only go up to where the Manga is and so it will likely end right before the really huge final battle.  The next one will only have this to add so it will be a lot of repeating.  The manga is just a few issues away from ending and if they had held off to September (since they normally don't like to release games in the Summer although it will most likely be done by then) they could have included the story to the end.

Because of this timing the next one should continue to add the awesome cinematic battles and QTEs (since they're actually fun in this series), but it should take cover the WHOLE story.  I'm not sure what to call it that sounds cool without just using 4 but they should have another name.  It would be kinda cheap to add 2 characters and a battle and call it a day storywise (since that's why I play the Naruto games and the old DBZ Budokai games).

What do you guys think of the timing should they have delayed and do you agree about what to do with the next one?  Post your thoughts.

Manga is close to ending?

yeah I have to think so.  They're having a giant epic showdown right now.  I would say another couple months and it's over although they're known for getting into flashbacks and distracting storylines so it may be another year lol

do you read the thing?  If it's not done in 6 months (I'm guessing not a lot of battles left but plenty of backstory so still not much to put in a game) I will be very surprised.

Can you do me a favor and let us know when it's finished, I rather wait till it is before I start reading it again. I got up to the huge war part with Ochimaru reviving all the past heroes and Naruto learning to control the 9-tail fox chakara from the 8-tails octopus (bad rapper rip off) guy. The story just go so convoluted with the war, and a bit repetitious with the zombies ninjas, I just could not keep reading it. Still want to finish it though. It's sort of a must after reading for so long.

sure and yeah there are a lot of stupid storylines that I didn't really care for but some of the fights with dead kages are freaking amazing.  Also it's not Orochimaru reviving the people it's Kabuto his former right hand man.

I Highly doubt so like naruto manga is going to finish after this war besides the war aint finishing anytime soon

We still have many battles left in the manga. It's kinda hard to predict which one follows which.

For sure i can tell that Juubi will evolve one last time to his perfect state. I don't know but it's possible that anyone becomes his Jinchuriki. Madara is the best candidate (since he needs it to use Rikudo's planetary jutsu), but i'm not seeing how he will make Tobi use the Rinnegan on him.

I'm confident that Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen and Minato will fight Madara and the Juubi too.

We're in for another year at minimum. imo

btw did anyone read the latest chapter?
