Why? It sells well and Guerilla have 2 teams now, meaning they can do new things without ditching KZ. Sony seem to like investing in the series as well, it's been on every PS since PS2.

Sure, but most games are eclipsed by COD and Destiny. And it's a lot better than some other PS franchises, it's definitely profitable...   Just because it's not as successful as something else doesn't mean it's not successful. Far Cry gets eclipsed by COD, does that mean ubisoft should stop publishing it?

Looking at Chartz numbers, KZ is more popular than most shooters on PS3. http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=&publisher=&platform=PS3&genre=Shooter&minSales=0&results=200

Both PS3 titles are above Crysis, Lost planet, Borderlands, Far cry, Medal of Honor, Dead Space...  Now it is an exclusive so it's sales aren't divided like these games, but even then it still performs very well.

If Guerilla came up with a concept for a game that Sony saw a lot of potential in, even BF/COD-like potential then I could they them considering discontinuation, but until then it'd be stupid to ditch it imo.

Point is I see Killzone declining more (unless a miracle happens) But if people are ok with 2 million in sales or less then be my guess.

i don't care what games they show, i just want them to show actual gameplay not some traget render nonsense

...actually i think it would be kinda nice if they showed some of the the infamous target renders of the PS3 reveal running in real time on a PS4

I just spent 5 minutes searching for target renders of infamous (as in the actual game) lol. 

Hopefully whatever tech demos we see are realistic or actually running on the hardware... they better not come out and show us Avatar.
