Coke always wins these polls as Coke owns the world. Sadly. It is less sweet. Pepsi is bigger in the USA and Canada, but still smaller then when it dominated in the USA  when I was a child and teenager.
In other words, the poll is worthless because many in other countries get tons less contact with Pepsi.

True, but in India (population 1 billion plus) Pepsi sells a lot more and is synonymous with soda...quite different from most of the world where Coke is the defacto market share leader. I always thought that it was weird how hard Coca Cola struggles to gain a foothold here in India as opposed to everywhere else.

OT: Coke...Pepsi just tastes off to me. Plus American soda fountain Coke is what I live for :)

Or, if you are in Soctland there dominant drink is "Irn-Bru" which is an acquired taste.

Neither. They are both unhealthy garbage. Water will do your body more good than this stuff that destroys you.

What about Juice?

1. Cranberry Splash (cranberry soda no syrup + taste mad good)
2. Sierra Mist (no syrup)

Dr Pepper.

Between those two inferior products, I'd have to go with diet wild-cherry pepsi.

Yer Dr Pepper is best. I used to buy imported Dublin Dr Pepper in Australia as it used imperial sugar. Sadly the parent company thought Dublin should shut down.

So now I bearly drink it as corn yrup gives me stomach aches.

Out of the two listed, ATM I prefer PEPSI and Coke in australia is too carbonated and bloates you. However I don't mind Coke Zero here.

When I can, I usually buy imported coke, either classic coke from USA or mexican coca cola in bottles. They the two best tasting.

Actually Diet sodas are worst for you than regular sodas in amny ways.  They replace calories with artificial sweeteners which in fact turns out to be even more fat than what you was already consuming.

I think you misunderstood something. There's a psychological factor involved: People who drink diet soda tend to eat more food, because they consumed less calories with their drink.

Kinda like those women who eat half a piece of cake, a little bit of ice-cream, half a bar of chocolate etc. every day and then wonder why they gain weight/can't lose weight, even though they never ate anything big.

A (chubby) lady my wife used to work with would always get a big mac value meal, supersized... with a diet soda for lunch. I remember overhearing this lady bemoaning the fact that she was putting on weight and she didn't understand why... 'I switched completely to diet soda and I'm still putting on weight!'. She had read an article that eliminating sugared soda from your diet could help you loose 30lbs in a year or something like that, but didn't connect the dots that the big mac & fries might be part of the problem.
