Not happy about the lack of handheld in this poll.

If I can't choose DS, SNES is the way to go.

Based on games library for its time (no backwards compatability, no xbla/vc/eShop/psn ect) i have to go with the SEGA Megadrive.

Streets of Rage Trilogy.
Sonic Quadrilogy.
Outrun.
Golden Axe 1&2 (lets forget aboout 3 huh)
Shinobi III, Revenge of Shinobi & Shadow Dancer.
Eternal Champions.
Kid Chameleon.
Castle of Illusion.
Vectorman. ect ect

And those are just SEGA developed games.

Throw in 3rd party games like Micro Machines: Turbo Tournament, Street Fighter 2: Championship Edition & Road Rash and that pretty much sums up why it still reigns supreme in my eyes.

I don't expect the SEGA Megadrive to get many votes here, but it was very popular in the UK & Europe.

I would have to say the ps1. It was my first console owned. I was young and had plenty of time for games(alhtough not enough money). I didnt have money for a ps2 so I didn't get into that gen until the very end, and I got an xbox for the online shooters to play with my buddies. Also a great system with great memories

Very hard to choose...I'd say PS2 and Wii. If we go from system to platform I choose the PC.

Looks like this poll confirms what I theorized some time ago: Nintendo fans really don't like the Wii. Or at least not as much as they liked previous Nintendo consoles.


Hopefully the Wii U will make a better impact.

Out of that list? Probably N64 or GC. My actual favourite would be my DS
