i have both, ni no kuni is better and is amazing
I was never much into Sly so I'd say Ni no Kuni, but I recently started playing Fire Emblem Awakening and I haven't gone back to Ni no Kuni yet since I started that so, I'd say get a 3DS XL and download FEA from the eShop and play that, I'm spending a shit ton of time on it and I don't even like SRPGs that much, that game is gang busters.

I was going to come in here put in all caps YES!!!
but after reading your post I'd say no; Ni No Kuni is as traditional as JRPG's come, and it's neither like ME or VC, so go with sly 4.

i have the collection and like it that's why i am not sure which one i should get, the demo of Ni no kuni was interesting and the reviews for this game are really good but probably it is not bad idea to buy it when it is 30 or 20 bucks because as i mentioned i am not big fan of jrpg

most likely i'll buy two but according what everyone is saying i'll buy sly now and wait for discount on ni no kuni
I would say buy it, but the story is nowhere near on par with Valkyria Chronicles.
| sepisfu said: okay here is the thing, i don't like jrpg in general, this generation i didn't even buy one jrpg , i bought masseffect 2 and valkeria i didn't even like mass effect but i liked valkyria i played the demo, the graphic is good, i like the story based on what i heard, and combat system is okay. So i am not sure if i should buy this or buy sly cooper 4

Please buy both, we need to support both genres.

ok the further I get into Sly the more I have to recommend it. It easily outdoes any Sly before it and I commend Sanzaru. Yeah the basic gameplay is the same but everything from maps to controls to just the general smoothness of the platforming has improved. The different time eras each have their own charm and they're the perfect size and each have a really unique feel to them. I can't recommend this game enough!
I can understand those that say 'if you're not big on jrpg u shouldnt get it'. But honestly Ni No Kuni is probably one of the best jrpg for gamers that havent played alot of jrpg. It has a great story and balanced yet not crazy complicated. This game is great for experienced and unexperienced jrpg players.
