Just updated OP with some 5% hope of a version on Wii U that more represents the awesome demo, we'll see how it works out.

This isn't going to end well either way. Either the Wii U version of the game is just as crappy as the PS/360 versions or the Wii U version is a measurably better experience. I think the former is far more likely. However, if the later is true, it will be another case of mass nerd rage. Except unlike the Bayonetta 2 scenario, it would be justified.

I have ps3 version and love the game. Aliens colonial marines is by far the best aliens game to date. The younger generation wants everything to be cod. You want cod go play cod. Me I have scene so many horrible aliens games in my life it's ridiculous. I have waited since 1986 for a game of this quality. All you get is ppl bitching and complaining the game is not good enough blah blah. Guess what it never will be with what ppl expect today. I come from the Atari, super nes, sega master system era. Trust this new aliens game is a dream come true for me personally!

We’re bringing some unique features to the Wii U that aren’t possible on other platforms. Using the Wii U GamePad’s motion controls, you can use the screen as a fully directional motion tracker - just like in Aliens. You can also use the touch screen to hack terminals and scan for enemies.

They should have just made this a top down SHMUP and called it a day. Renegade Ops was awesome...get those guys to make more games.
