Last night leaked pictures of a real PlayStation 4 controller made the rounds on the internet before another allegedly leaked image appeared online earlier today.

Now, a PlayStation fan has sent us this awesome mock-up feature implemented on the leaked controller concept which we think should make it to the original design.

As you can see, the touch-screen is displaying the PS Logo before the full ‘PlayStation’ text can be viewed on it. You can then view the menu on the controller touch-pad itself.

We think it would be a nifty little thing to be added to the original design.

looks nice, but wouldn't be used for gaming, but operating the system.

Depends on the cost. It's prettier but doesn't actually seem more useful. It would be good for displaying a menu, I suppose, but wouldn't really benefit actually playing the game. It's just too small to display anything very important.

A tiny OLED monochromatic display wouldn't cost much.
