The DS result is something other manufacturers should go for :) Sell more than you make - way to cut manufacturing costs!

Still, the undertracking of the year has to go to Diablo 3. It's at 3 million, while Activision has recently said it sold 12 million. I think this is humiliating this whole site...



Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

Do you know that digital downloads is a huge market for PC games? I have ~200 games on Steam, and no one is a retail purchase.

Which means, the Wii and PS3 accounted for 249k units.

If Wii and PS3 = 52% then how do the numbers you come up with 249<281. the numbers you provide means 53% 360 share.

281k is 48% of 586 which means 305 for wii ps3

What exactly do you classify as stealth-trolling? This is sort of funny coming from a guy that bases entire threads around stealth-trolling (source: Uncharted review thread).

I dont know about stealth trolling, but you were taking sneaky jabs at both the Wii U and Halo 4.

Just ignore him, it seems that he has a letter of marque.

Are you trying to tell me that they sold 3 million in retail and 9 million digitally? The games you have are most probably mainly from some ridiculous Steam sales, aren't they? I can't recall Diablo 3 getting any such sale. So no, this number is terribly wrong, is a disgrace to this service and should be corrected. Moreover, if the publisher officially gives us the number of copies sold, they should listen to them and correct the numbers... I think the publishers know better.

No, 30 4.46K for Wii, Wii U, and PS3.

There were 55K units sold for the Wii U, so that's 249.46K.  If you want to round up to 250K, so be it, but that leaves 250K units for the Wii and PS3 to divide up.

So it's safe to say we are not getting numbers this month.

Also, whenever I see ethomaz say undertracked my ill wishes against PS3 keep growing stronger.
