Don't be bullied by the "free countries", which incidentally have nukes.

I don't like this generalization that all north koreans are bad, that's bullship.

Good for NK. I love it when the underdog stands up to the bullies.

I am not happy about NK having nukes but the reality is that there is something fundamentally wrong when countries with an arsenal of nukes condemn a nation for wanting them.

It is a policed world. Police can have weapons and show them, civilians are not allowed any (as is the case in civilized countries).

To be honest I rather live in the current scenario than one with every mad leader having nukes so I am not too bothered by this.

However one question do need to be asked. And one thing to ponder.

If Japan, Germany or S.Korea built nukes will there be such an outrage?

History has shown that today's friend is tomorrow's enemy. This friendship can be as old as a couple hundred years old but eventually things do and will fall apart, probably most likely with shrinking resources. Leaders are aware of this.
I believe this is why nukes or some super weapon will always be with us.

It's not the same at all. Those countries are not run by crazy dictatorships. North Korea is. All nations have a right to defend their boarders and their people, but when leaderships are as nuts as Korea's and Iran's start building nukes, it's not because they want to defend themselves. Part of it is because they want more power, but for Korea it's that they want South Korea back while Iran wants to and has said it will wipe Israel off the map.

If Japan built a nuke you'd know it would be to stop Korea from nuking them. The same goes for South Korea. I can't think of any reason Germany would build one, but it is a democracy with responsible leaders so I'm sure they would have a reasonable reason for building a nuke. They like the USA and even China and Russia can be trusted with nukes because none of their leaders wants to extinguish all life on this planet. North Korea's and Iran's leadership is far too unstable to be trusted with a weapon so deadly.

The only reason to maintain a nuclear arsenal is for mutual assured destruction. But for that to work everyone with nukes has to be on the same page. It's a game of chicken and everyone playing has to follow the rules. Crazy dictators like in North Korea and Iran don't play by anyone's rules, but their own insane playbook.

Oh and for those who say "Good for them" and call North Korea the underdogs. Are you serious? I mean, do you really believe that? Ask South Korea what they think about what happened to their country and what it's like living next to their unstable and dangerous counterpart. I highly doubt any South Korean would agree with you, nor would anyone across the water in Japan.

Meanwhile their citizens literally are eating each other to stay alive

Well it's not like anything is going to happen China, Russia, United States will all just raise their voice a little and say "Now you've done it more sanctions" oh wait that doesn't work on countries like N. Korea. (I'm not advocating for attacking N. Korea I'm just saying this is to be expected from them.

The issue being that no-one really wants to bother. China doesn't like the idea of a powerful US ally right on its border, and South Korea doesn't want to take on the massive effort that would be the integration with the North.
