Forums - Sony - Ni No Kuni: Best JRPG in about 2 decades

2 decades? Hell no is all I'm going to say.

No way.

Battle system is cool. I think it's art direction is just plain awesome too.

Story isn't much really. Overall there are plenty of JRPG better than it in the last 20 years.

Still loving it though.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Nope. Persona 4 is.

badgenome is king when it comes to knowing things (when he has my confirmation)

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Intro is cool at least :)

It certainly shows how little the genre has progressed these past two decades.

This guy knows.

Still remains Dragon Quest 8 to me. That game inspired me to want to become a videogame designer and story writer. Don't get me wrong Ni No Kuni is better than Dragon Quest X, and every final fantasy after 10.

xenoblade got good reviews, but because it's a wii exclusive, I'll probably never play it.

You obviously haven't played xenoblade.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

I would never not play a great game just because it's an exclusive to another console. I feel bad for every Sega fan that didn't buy Chrono Trigger just because it was on a Nintendo console. If it's a good game and it looks like I'll like it then I'll buy the console. However, generally I buy the newest Nintendo console first.
