The only problem I have with this is that the cop is not going to come out and counter claim you, if you are not the cop. It is the perfect claim because you want the most powerful town to come forward and also because he can't come forward because of the danger he will be in. No matter what, you win as mafia. If he comes forward you kill him. If he doesn't come forward you live on until he does claim (getting more time).

Again with the hypothetical analysis that I'm claiming to lure in the so called real cop when the simpler explanation is I am the cop. It's these over analyzations that make day one disasters a norm on VGC mafia.

All I care about right now is for Linkz to counter claim or admit he's bluffing so he doesn't go unquestioned if I do get lynched. I don't want Linkz to argue "I never claimed cop" the following day and be let off the hook if I get lynched and flip town cop.

FoS Mario for not being patient enough for Linkz response.

My question is: how are you repeating yourself when most of your more recent case was not included in the the original post where I asked you to give me your case on Spurge? Why the additions when you could have included most of your argument in your original case?

It seems like you are building a case instead of already having a case.For example, you stressed the "one sentence thing twice recently yet you never mention it at all in you original post. Why is this a part of your case all of a sudden? That's more of a rhetorical question, and frankly it doesn't sit well with me. Again, it seems like an addition to build a case you never had.

What further raises questions about your first post is how general it is. "Spurge exploded when I voted him" What does that mean? That could mean anything. "He attacked your credibility"... So? How does that make him a suspect? And where do you mention any of this in your next post? How did most of your reasons from your first post change so drastically?

 

I don't like how inconsistent you are right now.


I would like at least some kind of rebuttal to my claim that you are building a case against Spurge as you go. Moreso, I would like responses from other users on this as well. Just because Linkz is going insane and is currently allowing for the both of us to absorb all the spotlight doesn't mean a free pass for everyone to sit back.

Like I said, even if he was the cop, it would be too risky for him to claim as such.

I completely understand what you are saying though. The other option is that you simply ARE THE COP.

I am very patient, but I don't see him claiming.

That said. I'm more inclined to believe prof is scum then Linkz for reason i point out in my post above. I strongly believe Linkz is a town using a disastrous bluff.

This kind of logic kills me. That doesn't mean sit on your ass and put a cap on the matter. You need to ask questions then. Why would he claim to know who the cop was if you think it was too dangerous to do so?  Why such a contradictory dilemma? If it's too risky at this stage of the game, why even make such a statement?

Either...

He is bluffing to see how you would react.

OR

He actually knows something the rest of us don't.

If he just said so to see your reaction that isn't very risky. He he fully claims and turns out to be a liar obviously that is very risky. Maybe it would be worth it for mafia to get the cop lynched though. We will find out soon enough, unless he doesn't get drunk. :P
