vigging you confirms me as the vig. are you stupid?
it just happened three games ago.

you will drag this through the whole day as town?

i already told you i have a role. i said it three pages back. i can clear myself, you cannot.
i dont want a mass roleclaim, im just calling your bluff. and everyone is going to see you as such.

Personal attacks bring this game down and make it uninteresting and it's all you do spurge. That and twist the past to either make you look good or to bring down others. I hate playing this game with you, you ramble on and on and on and I can't even make out if you're scum or not.

Wanna know why people don't take your opinions seriously? You bury them underneath mountains of shit.

Interesting. What's wrong with statistics?

Nothing on Day 1 which is why I haven't mentioned anything about them. What DT seems to have forgotten is that he always mentions odds later on, at which point I think it is redundant since mafia is a game about feelings and logical conclusions, if you are to break it down to statistics Days into a game where information has been revealed and people have spoken lots, you are effectively making the whole game redundant and effectively turning it into "Mafia has an X% chance of winning this game with the numbers involved *rolls die* Madia win this round"

Still catching up with the thread, just thought I would respond to this directly since I won't be around for a while today.

So you essentially find them useless, but ok when it's day 1 and no solid information has been revealed?

To an extent yes, I find them redunant in all factors but (and this should answer DT's question as well), it's the way that they have been used. DT normally uses statistics to discredit arguments or say "Well seeing as there is X% chance this person is scum, that makes my feeling all the more valid". What you did was try to explain to someone, who in themselves was effectively using statistics to support their point (ie. because Day 1 lynches are random and the odds of hitting town are higher than hitting scum, so we shouldn't lynch Day 1) why, in Day 1 where feelings are less important than later on in the game, even pure statistics don't really work in their favour. You weren't trying to get people to lynch someone in specific using statistics is basically what it comes to, instead you were just saying to people "Don't just vote No Lynch and then not pay proper attention to the Day, look around at everyone and see what feelings you can get and then vote whoever is scummiest"

Also, about DT's page number thing, Nacho made his comment before the 8 pages so trying to make it sound like we were 8 pages in doesn't hold true for one and is just him trying to manipulate facts to make me seem more scummy. I also don't have any strong reads yet despite being 8 pages in because the fact that it is still Day 1 means we can't be sure about anything to start making logical conclusions (I'm more of a logistical person than someone that can read emotion etc.) meaning his comment about the number of posts in the game is slightly redundant.

As one last thing, I'd like to point out that he is making personal attacks against me to try and make me sound like I am just going to go after him and thus scully my character as someone that analyses properly and thus make people feel I am less important to keep around (and thus not so bad a risk for lynching because even if I am town, I wouldn't be the greatest loss).

Nobody is going to get moderated in mafia for personal attacks. Personal attacks in mafia simply means that you don't have anything else to defend yourself with, which paints the picture of someone who can't justify their actions.

You say you will claim before the end? You don't believe me when I say you will be lynched? I havemore experience than you, so trust me, it's on your doorstep ringing the bell over and over. Let me paint you the picture. It's been five pages. Several days have gone by. Activity is winding down, people are getting restless. Soon enough they are going to simply go with the strongest case, and that is the one against you whether you choose to believe it or not. Those votes will just start adding up and then you'll have to claim. This will be the next few posts "what now", "sigh, let's just lynch X then", "I'm just voting no lynch".
In essence, if you hold your claim, we may potentially make a rash, rushed decision on someone else...
Claiming now gives us a chance to look at someone else and start re-analyzing the situation so that we can make headway to prevent that future rushed decision.
It's coming spurge, believe me, what I just said is exactly what will happen if you continue this course. I know this because it's what happens every freakin' time.
That's experience talking, and my experience tells me you are in a very precarious situation. There's only one vote on you so you don't see it. But it's there and it's very real.

Again, I said if I'm wrong, town can lynch me. You can get me lynched RIGHT NOW with your claim....are you sure you want to take it to your grave?

He was the governor. He was lynched and he replace the lynch to HappyD. I hosted that game so I remember.

Anyway, Prof is the day vig. we will find it later on.

The F with this drama. >_>. It's sucking all the fun.

EBWOP.

Anyway, Prof is the day vig.? we will find it later on.

It's not drama noc, spurge is scum.
Also I'm not a vig, I simply fake-claimed in order to create a time-sensitive situation for spurge, yet he claimed that he'd rather die than claim because claiming would be bad for town.

15 post latter and i see marbles loose in this game. Pro Ryan calm down.
