About the whole Marcus thing, the impression I got was that he was creating a diversion. While I agree with him that last round was a big letdown, his antics did shift the conversation away from Mario. Which, coincidence or not, allowed Mario more time to respond to linkz's questionning.

It's not that marcus is acting weird or saying strange things.
It's that he's making excuses for his behavior, saying 'i'm pissed about last round (even though he won) so I'm making discussion and purposely trying to be suspicious'.

ie; It's not that he IS being suspicious, but that he's denying culpability in lieu of 'emotional response'/'strategy'.

imo it's the perfect setup for mafia to get in line with the idea to get town out of the game? this could make you look like mafia, and any one else that's voted for me. it's the perfect setup, unless i'm mafia and i'm leaving a pointless trail with a bunch of wholes that make no sense.

i took the risk, and if no one sees it that way, then i've set myself up for a lynch to get mafia and it didn't work. one thing i knew was that i couldn't turn back either way.

i should have a vote on no one right now, and i'm not defending myself. i'm explaining what i'm doing, in full detail. and the funny thing about it is, you know i'm repeating everything i'm doing, and saying how it looks. i know how it looks. maybe you should go back and read everything i've said so far and you'll come to the conclusion that "this guy is trying something that's either making everyone voting for him look like they are mafia. or this was a bad idea, and no one believes it.

either way it worked, or it didn't. so i tried something insane to get mafia. or i tried something insane to get town. i can't defend myself either way.

Yeah, that would explain the situation logically, the other option is that Marcus is just plain crazy.

I'll admit, the latter is looking more and more likely at the moment.

Spurge, it's terrible play not to attempt to read someone because you believe they are poison. In fact, I'd argue that you put the most effort into reading "poison" players because those players will get themselves lynched when no one takes up the cause of their defense.

When can you start making conclusions?

Radish, why do you believe that No Lynch is the best option here? And why do you care why people are confident in zero-town? Do you have a scumread on him?

I don't like how you subtly make excuses for a weak vote before you make it. You say that he's worthless as town, which seems to be your primary reason for voting him, and I don't really see you making plenty of policy votes in other games. You also talk about Day 1 being the best time to make your vote, which carries with it the implications that this would be a poor vote on any other day. Do you think he is scum, or do you think he is town?
