Why PSABR, Twisted Metal and Starhawk flopped

Based on one website? No other gaming website has it as the best fighting game (from the quick google search I did). Heck it wasn't even nominated on the VGA. It also has a Metacritic of 74, lower than some other fighters like Persona 4 Arena, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Virtual Fighter 5 and some others...

VGA are even bigger (whether you like it or not) and it wasn't even dominated. Just because the game won 1 award on DICE it doesn't make it the best fighting game of the year.

When a game wins multiple awards across a lot of gaming websites like Journey then your argument would have made sense.

I love PASBR but its a barebones game, multiplayer is the real deal even if doesn't owrks most of the time (for me) and its unbalanced. I hope they make a sequel with a bigger budget.

VGA are even bigger (whether you like it or not) and it wasn't even nominated. Just because the game won 1 award on DICE it doesn't make it the best fighting game of the year.

Dude, PSASBR is nowhere near being called AAA. i doubt it even cost Sony 10million to make the game.

Superbot being shut down is proof it missed expectations by far.

If anything they should have realised non-Smash fighters are niche and had a more appropriate budget.
