We can all hate sim racers together ^__^
I never got into NFS: underground mainly because I was a bit young, but I will say my two favorite racing games of all time have to be a tie between NFS: most wanted (2005, 360) and Burnout Paradise.

it will be on wii U and not be rerelease therefore it's a next gen game

For me next-gen is defined by the quality of the software and a game offering a new experience never before had

As such, I am most anticipating The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls

I doubt we will see much actual software innovation on PS4/Xbox-Next innovation until a few years past the launch. Until then you will just get shinnier coats and social service entanglements overlaid on top of familiar popular game genre.
