They better bundle some sort of mic instead of these. People want to talk/text and not facetime when they got their game face on.

exactly!  Keep all the extra controls as peripherals and give us a beefed up box for $400 or $450.  PS3 is doing fine living off of first party offerings and PS+ along with free regular PSN.  I remind you that that is also while being the most expensive.  Add in Gaikai and the multitasking 4gb RAM will provide along with an affordable price from day 1 and you've got yourself a successful console.  If they add this stuff in it'll either be too expensive or not that much of a leap in specs.

won't cost much to manufacture for people who fear that. just check the costs of a cam build in a phone which has a higher res.

How about covering all the sides? Microsoft then can't boast of their exclusive feature of voice commands through kinect or voice/video chat. Also I don't think 720p cameras are that expensive.

Cameras are super cheap, especially for Sony. While it doesn't interest me much, I doubt it will cost very much.

However, if this lets me use my Move thingies with Killzone 4 then I'm in.

If Sony wants to get some of the Kinekt crwod, just do something stuppid that people can use for dancing games.

@OT, This could be great as long as it's not bundled even though it wouldn't drive cost up that much. I would probably buy it later anyways if true.
