pretty average. feel like were gonna see this for months.

i agree, i actually hope sales dont even drop further. both GoW games will hopefully help PS360. i dont see anything helping WiiU much though

Unfortunately, with Rayman Legends getting delayed and becoming multiplatform, it definitely isn't helping the WiiU. Fortunately, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Lego City Undercover might be able to shift a few consoles. No new Nintendo 1st Party games coming out during this quarter is definitely not helping them either.

the biggest problem isnt that it lost exclusivity, its that it got delayed. even multiplatform tittles push hardware. Fifa and madden both pushed PS vita hardware for example. the WiiU needs all the games it can get, regardless of exlusivity.

It is really awkward that the numbers of ps3 sold in Europe equalls the amount of xbox sold in America and Vice Versa..
Everything else seem to be unsurprising !

I'm a little bit disappointed with what I've seen from Wii Fit U so far.  The pedometer thing they have is kind of neat, but doesn't sell me on the idea.  There is so muh more they could do with Miiverse connectivty, and adding a nutritional element to it (allow you to track calories and such).  Hopefully they'll show off more interesting features.

Either way it will sell well.  As a simple Wii Fit ++ it will probably sell like 7-10 million.  If they really improve it, it could be 20-30 million.

These numbers don't make a lot of sense to me. Was expecting the PS3 below 100k this week, especially since Ni No Kuni gave it barely any boost last week (when it actually released).

Everything seems to be bottoming out at their lowest levels though. 3DS will get a nice boost next week.

Quite impressed with Ni No Kuni's hold in the USA anyway. I remember a few people saying "just wait until you see the second week sales...". I think 40k is quite good, especially after a 160k opening week. Will be interested to see the numbers in Europe in any case.

Damn Vita??? (Japan only), Didn't it just release like 3 major Titles??? Hardware didn't push!

1 game this week in Japan, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.  If you expected that to push hardware... then I don't know what to tell you :P

I don't usually comment in these threads but almost everything below 100k already, that's depressing.

Rayman legends being delayed is another nail in the coffin as an early adopter. I bought the WiiU mainly for that game. The initial delay was ok, we're still having fun with Mario and Nintendoland, but now it seems the WiiU is going to be unused just like the 360 and ps3 in the beginning.
Oh well, at least Sly 4 is out and Ni No Kuni is proving to be even greater then expected.
Definitely not pre-ordering ps4 or 720 anymore, I'll wait it out this time to see what really gets released with the systems.

I believe both situations are negative though. The WiiU needs games that will sway audiences to get the WiiU. Rayman Legends, might not have been a major title but adding to a list of exclusives that could persue people to buy the system. With the announcement that it's going multiplatform, people could just as easily say "well. I already have a PS3/360."

The timing also ruins it because pushing the title back to September means that there is a longer wait time for a new game. According to Gamestops website, Rayman Legends was the only release scheduled for the rest of February.  The next game to release will be The Amazing Spiderman (nearly year old port) on the 5th of march and then nothing else until the 18th (lego city undercover). Followed by March 19th (Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Need For Speed: Most Wanted).

i completely agree with everything you just said. i dont understand these publishers strategy. they just wont release games after a few months of the systems release. 3DS, Vita and now WiiU. they just never learn

Sadly, Demon Gaze & Monster Monpiece barely provided any boost the week they came out anyway.

And just to warn you in advance, there's no important games on Vita's release schedule until February 28th.  It's going to be a disappointing month ahead!

PS3 did not drop below 100K for another week. Hope it continues until March when God of War comes. People were skeptical about Ni No Kuni's second week. I think it is doing good.

How about Sly Cooper week ending Feb 9th? Yeap Vita and Wii U in Deep Deep Deep ****. Only Japan gets releases soon for Vita (end of Feb)
