With the stellar sales of COD 4 and solid sales of 2 and 3 it is no surpise it is number 1 with yearly installments shall hit 10m before too long and i dont see any other franchises dethroning it ever, unless Halo had a new game every year.
Halo is obviously best performing with only 1 title and with Wars this year will also pass 10m.
Whenever GOW 2 is released that franchise will also pass 10m copies, with 1 passing 5m very shortly.
Madden will always be top 5 due to yearly releases and very decent sales every year, this reason sales should reach 10m by Madden 2011 maybe 2010 if the series continues to increase in sales YOY.
Guitar Hero is quite the performer, almost 4m in 1 year on the 360, sales will taper off but i expect it to reach 10m lifetime before they do.
