I've noticed that when IGN teases ''news'', it's usualy only a preview of a game they had a hands on. Would'nt be surprised if they had the chance to play a new demo of Rayman, Lego City or MH, or have a interview with one of the developers.

Anyway, I doubt it's anything other than a preview. Nintendo seem to always keep their interesting stuff for Nintedo Directs, so It won't be anything particulary interesting.

You never know though. It's possible that Nintendo is worried about the less than stellar sales of Wii U, plus the fact that Sony just made an announcement for the 2oth.

If Nintendo is worried about either of those Nintendo will not wait to organize a Nintendo Direct, they will just throw out info to stem the flames. Kinda like a preemptive strike.
