By the way when did game reviews ever become important?

Well that just speaks "denial" to me. When MS publishes, the games metas tend to be higher. Nothing funny about that.


If that was true Microsoft would have higher ranked first and second party exclusives than Sony in their library.

sony had a rather bad year when it came to exclusives. yes the games they released were pretty fun like twisted metal or PS all stars. but they didnt have those big budget games that blew everyone away like in 2011 or what we will get this year. any sony fan can tell you that this year wasnt the best for ps exclusives. maybe on the vita thats a different case though with games like LBP and gravity rush

I didnt see the numbers, only that MS won.

But the fast rate of people quoting me suggests sensitivity to rationalize such numbers.

Reviewers get paid to play games. On disc DLC, DRM and all this shit means nothing to them. Gamers have to pay for all the shenanigans publishers pull. Thats why there is a huge disconnect between what reviewers deem good and what gamers do.

hey np, im used to ps fans refusing to face things. I acknowledge that Sony pumps out more games, but this is about when MS publishes something, the average metascore is higher then sonys.....whats so hard to understand?

@bold - Now unless you consider a 1 point difference to be the deciding factor, your statement right there is wrong. Not to mention Sony has 152 more games than Microsoft but still only has received 11 negative reviews whereas Microsoft has received a total of 15.

Props to Take-Two Interactive. When your worst game of the year is Max Payne 3. You are putting some really quality content out there. They are certainly my favourite publisher these days. Ubisoft has a chance of matching that. They did great last year with AC3 and Far Cry 3. EA is blah.
