Its just sold out everywhere here in the UK, cant get a copy for love nor money, if it does have a massive drop off it could be due to shortages.

easily the best jrpg since final fantasy 9

no offence but you are suffering from a severe case of rpg hipsteriasis.

let me try: "since 1988's Dragon Quest III  rpgs have been going downhill"

on a more serious note, great news

Yeah, crazy thing was I saw a BIG display wall for it. Which i wasn't expecting. hoping this means i can wait a little on it without it dropping into Atlus syndrome. (Aka if you don't get it first run expect to never find it and pay $100 bucks.)

Pewdiepie's videos should help advertising the game.

Number 1 on the UK charts, which is nice to see.

WOW. I really wasn't expecting these numbers after seeing Graces F's sales.

Will get soon.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

Must have taken namco by surprise. Never known a game sell out so fast since Ocarina of Time. GAME had aisle end promos for it and no stock to go on them lol. So they were advertising that its now available on PSN with PSN cards on the shelf.

Glad I pretty ordered the Wizards edition. Its already pretty much doubled in value :s

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

120k out of this 160k were preorders-is this really that great?

It's great to see JRPG's selling well; this and Xenoblade in particular show that a quality JRPG will sell worldwide if launched worldwide.

Hopefully the week 2 drop will not be too bad.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I never understood why Japanese devs don't release in America at the same time as Japan. The games usually sale more In N. America than their home region anyway.

I can understand the delay given how text intensive these games are.  What I do not get is why several struggle so long to be considered to exported.  As you say, little doubt this title will sell better in NA than it has in JP.  I cannot imagine localization costs nearly as much as base development.
