My point was that far from all games will be able to render games at 240 fps even if this is true. Or at least not without notable drawbacks.

I agree with this. Almost everything he says turns out to not happen or it happens the other way around lulz xD |
That is no proof of him being an idiot. There is considerable evidence against. He continues to be employed at a well reputed financial institution; he continues to issue paid reports on the videogame industry; the press continue to give his quotes attention and space. If he was just incompetent neither investors nor the media would continue to pay him to do what he does. His firm's monthly sales estimates continue to be accurate.
He must be gaining something from this media exposure and the kind of outrageous claims and bad advice he dispenses. Either the claims themselves are influencing the industry in some way he benefits from (stock manipulation, or being paid by some involved party), or the media exposure in general from his persona is valuable to his firm.
This guy belong with the special kids. At least, that's how it would seem, if you don't know what an utter puppet he is. The industry pays GT to have him on staff, that is a given. Nintendo, however, obviously said no thank you to the "services" of "mr" Pacther, that much is also obvious.
Seriously, pure propaganda tool, nothing else. Glad Nintendo told his handlers to go screw themself.
“It is unlikely that anything will be made in higher resolution than 2 megapixel or run at faster than 60 frames per second, which is pretty realistic, but the new consoles are being built to last past the end of the 1080p display cycle. If we go to 4K display, which I believe is 8 megapixel, they may not have to run faster than 60 frames per second (and the size of game files clearly becomes an issue, regardless), but I believe that the processors can handle rendering faster than 60 frames per second
He also stuck by what he said and revealed that the new consoles will be able to render at 240 fps, but the viewing experience will not be materially improved.
“It wouldn’t make sense to build that into the game, but I was asked what the difference in processing power would be, and I replied “probably around four times as fast in terms of data as the current generation consoles.” When the follow up was “what does ‘four times as fast’ mean?’”, I replied with the faster frame rate or greater number of characters quote.”

i hope, they will locked on 60 fps on next gen, beyond that makes me dizzy, I'm fine with 30 fps, anyone experienced the same here?
