According to the guy who uploaded the video, the framerate doesn't suffer at all when put in 3D (though he says that the framerate is a problem when you first boot it up, but it gets better as you play it longer)

Maybe his battery was low and he plugged in the power later. I notice that he only had 2 bars of energy when he started playing. Its possible.

I really don't know, but the game does look interesting and I might get it.  However, only if the framerate isn't as bad as people are making it seem.  I kind of wish that they said they would release a demo or something, or that someone with a better cam recorded gameplay because I'm really dying to know what the game really looks like. (on the 3DS)

No offense to the OP or anyone else in this topic, but look at what games he's playing, his sig, etc. Anything he says about the 3DS version of the game I'd take with a grain of salt. The uploader of the video has apparently admitted before the FPS isn't so hot in the 3DS version.

Just to note I'm not a fanboy, I liked my PS2 the most before the 3DS library got to where it recently is this year, with upcoming games and localization.

The last time I cared about graphics was the N64 era.

But I admit that both the PS2 & 3DS are my top 2 personal favorites of all time.

And I should admit that I am a 3D Fanboy. In fact I have seen every 3D movie in theaters since Q4 2012, including that Romance Genre 3D Movie: Cirque De Soliel: Worlds Away 3D and I still never liked romance movies, LOL but this was a nice watch for me.

I haven't seen Texas Chainsaw 3D and don't plan to though, and I have not yet seen Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters 3D but will soon in the next 7 days.

So yeah, I am a 3D Fanboy, but NOT 3DS. So clearly I have a little bias, but compare to the max of 30 fps in the other version of this game, well I don't think a slow frame rate at the beginning will be anything to worry about, let alone if there happens to be a few drops during gaming that will go away the longer you play it, since when it works fine it would be in 60 fps per video image.

After seeing a 3D trailer for "The Longest Daycare" (at the end of the "Ice Age 4" trailer) on my 3DS, I personally can't wait for them to make a Simpsons Movie 2 in 3D someday.

Uhh, why was this locked? If whoever had locked this had said why, it would have been fine, but as it is, i'm unlocking this.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Thank you for always being the logical moderator.

Keep up the logical work like you always do.

So now everyone, let's start conversation on this Non-PC version of the game once again, and what potential it has amongst its fellow other console versions.

I would like to know why come other 3rd Party Devs don't make their 3DS games look like this.

The more I hear about this game, the more I want it. And the Wii U version sounds like the best. Five-player local multiplayer is a sweet deal.

LOL on quoting myself, but I wonder if the 3DS version of Rodea the Sky Soldier will look like this. It has been in development for 2 to 3 years.

MUST KNOW INFO:

Rodea the Sky Soldier is made by the same creator who created the Sonic the Hedgehog games.

Although it is pretty obvious when you look at him that he's the same creator of Sonic.

Yeah, both the Wii U & 3DS easily have the best versions of this game (consoles versions).

Me, I'm a 3D fanatic I suppose, so you know I'm choosing the 3DS version for 3D, even though it has a better frame rate then the Wii U Version too.

Did you watch the video in the link I put in the OP?

That video is of the 3DS version, but the persons camera had a bad recording frame rate, as he or she mentions in the YouTube video.

Wait, the 3DS version is actually decent? With it coming out so much later than the others and with so little fanfare, I assumed it would just be a lousy console-to-handheld port.

I'm still going to assume that's the case until I see some reviews that say otherwise. It seems too good to be true.

Well, Sega said that only the 3DS version was made from the ground up for its Console.

But yeah, wait for reviews, you not the one who pre-ordered the 3DS version bonus edition, it was me LOL.

i guess I could write a review once I get my hands on it and update my review as I proceed thru this version of the game.
