That's being developed in the Tokyo studio. The Kyoto studio wants people with HD experience for an HD game they'll make later I guess.

Wow, Monolith is really on a roll lately. One of the better devs Nintendo has for them at the moment. I just realized, I don't think I ever played any of their games...

EDIT: No, I didn't. Though they did "development co-operation" on Skyward Sword and Smash Bros. Brawl whatever that means.

Did you try the Baten Kaitos games?

I did. I started with the first one. I like it, but it didn't really suck me in. I got distracted and stopped playing. I'll finish eventually, and I've heard Origins is better.

For what it's worth, I played Xenoblade in bursts, too, but I have finished that one.


It gets better, but Origins is on another level.
