It could simply be a case that both this and Killzone are extremely ambitious but otherwise this is terrible news for the Vita and indicates that they have nothing lined up for the rest of year. I'm genuinely really worried for the system in the west.

I expected Killzone to be ready by, the game has been in development since late 2010! I was looking forward a whole new bunch of announcements for Q3/4. We could still get that, but I'm doubtful seeing as they pushed these 2 titles so far back. Either way Q1/2 is going to be pathetic outside of japan. Hopefully this sony event brightens the picture for the years 2nd half.

We have a season!

Fall will be great for Vita.

and the rest of the year is going to suck, seriously other than sly cooper and soul sacrifice what do they have that will be released from here to september?

We'll see. I'm expecting lots of PSN games to fill in the gap.

psn games wont really sell the system

Are you a vita owner or vita wanter?

If you have the system, PSN and PS+ games should fill the gap nicely.

If you don't have the system, well you just won't buy it during summer. Of course you could buy based off current and future games and not just what's releasing that week.

It's a problem, but it's not going to make the Vita do worse.

sorry but psn games do not fill a 6month gap and although I much appreciate PSN+ it can't possibly deliver any worthwhile games since the best have already been made available (Uncharted, gravity rush, Wipeout) and naturally people who actually supported those when they were released will find no value in that. Again I also appreciate small psn titles but I did not spend £300 on the vita system+memory card to Cheap psn games.

Also this will be very damaging to Vita brand. The casual gamers who picked it up alongside AC:Liberation or Call of duty will undoubtably have very little to play between now and september and this will be cause negative word of mouth.

Lol ! Funny how you turn this good news into a " terrible news ".

This is not the subject here but no, Sly 4, Killzone, Soul Sacrifice and TearAway are not the only sony games ( and its always better than nintendo with the 3DS first or  second year ) , sony has other games in preparation, like the sony bend game and the frebruary event will reveal some games.

Awesome now Sony release a green vita bundle and see sale go through the roof.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Tecmo Koei ports (Ninja Gaiden & Dead or Alive).

So yeah.  Not much!

It's import season if you can read Japanese, though :(

i really dont understand sony, nothing is coming out other than sly and soul sacrifice, how can they let it pass that from the beggining of the year to september that they will only have 2 worth while games releasing for the system. killzone and tear away should have released this this quarter and in april/may. now they have NOTHING.

Exactly, I think Soul sacrifice should be having a worldwide launch in march. From what we've seen the game isn't exactly a massively open RPG for the localisation shouldn't be a massive hassle and it being a 1st part title sony should have began localisation as soon as the game was announced. Killzone should have been ready by spring seeing as its had the same development cycle as KZ3 but is no where near as ambitious. I'll give MM the benefit of the doubt because they're building a whole new game concept from the ground up, but I would've thought we'd see it in the summer. Instead of wasting their money on outsourcing teams to port the less then impressive Ratchet and Clank Q force, I thought sony would get some  much needed quality JRPGs on the system. FF Type 0 is the obvious choice but Ni No Kuni would have made for the most significant console port and filled up the Q1 line up nicely. More so then the likes of Ninja Gainden, dead or alive Ratchet etc ( I know sony has nothing to do with Ninja gaiden/DOA)

Then summer should have been the time for PSN titles to support the system.

Oh well my Vita slowly but surely dying. A bad year is a common, but 2 in a row!? Feb 20th better have some answers alongside the ps4 reveal.

Lol,  Soul Sacrifice is coming the 30 april to US, its near from the japanese release.
And dont talk about games you dont even know.

Of course, you dont talk about Ys Celceta.

Well I wouldn't consider this "good news" as I was expecting the title to launch much earlier and again it just reconfirms that sonys Q1/Q2 are going to be poor. Normally when you see big releases stretched out so far, its because of a lack of titles. look at what was once the wii U's launch line up, I don't for a second believe that Pikmin requires another 6months in development, Nintendo are just trying to spreat their releases out cos they have nothing for the summer. But I won't argue on the epoint of the Vita's software, if you are content with the sceduled releases then I'm happy for you.

im sure that the end of this year will be stacked for vita, even more than last year PS all start, LBP, assassins creed, CoD, need for speed, fifa, madden, persona4 were all released by the end of the year in 2012. now we already have killzone and tear away confirmed we have to wait until E3, destination playstation to know even more.

i dont know what sony was thinking releasing just sly and sould sacrifice this year, i just dont get sony's strategy

I dont want to argue but i wont never understand why people are always more demanding with Vita than any other console.
