Well only PS3 numbers until Q3 2013... after PS3+PS4.

Nothing in their financial report has proven to me that they are on the road of a recovery. Furthermore, Sony will post a profit for year-end based on them selling their assets - It's still a money losing business. I expect a miminum drop off of 3% tomorrow you?

The same site reported Japan and after some days confirmed Worldwide... no word from Sony from both.
Considering PS3 reach 70m on 4th of November. I predict another 4.5~4.8 million in the last 2 months. So PS3 lifetime shipment figure is about 74.5 ~ 74.8million. Still slight behind X360.

Sounds pretty optimistic!

I agree for the most part, but I think the PS2 shipments were a little bit higher, because it is the last time retailers can actually order it. |
Interesting... I thought I was the only one. Im glad two others figure around the same as me. For me I expect a liitle less than 69mil last quarter. More like 68.8 and a little less than 75mil end of year. More like 74.8mil (give or take 100k each quarter)

Nobody knows for sure.
I predict last Q, Sony shipped 5.8~6.2million PS3 to put PS2 about 0.6~1.0million.
People say PS2 was discontinued in last Q, so the shipment will be less. But according to my experience of production, normally, the shipment figure might be increased.
Sony may produced more PS2 and ship all of them to retail channels in one shot to make them available for certain time and inform the market this will be the last batch production of PS2.
Anyway, this is jut my thought.
