Forums - Gaming - Playstation 4 will fail sales wise. Here is why...

I believe that all next gen consoles will struggle in sales during it's first months/year. WiiU is just a hint of what's to come. But eventualy all consoles will have fine sales but not as good as this gen, I predict all 3 having around 60milion in sales.

Yay!!!

Not broke, don't fix, ect.

Dual shock is the best controller- has been and always will be. It just needs minor adjustments gen to gen. In this case better triggers and a vita style d-pad (it already has the best dpad on the market but the vita took it to a new level).

Sorry man, but the best D-Pad on the market is from the Gameboy Pocket. Also, Dualshock is small and the analog sticks are badly positioned. Good for some people with small hands, but that's it.

And someone whose hands have blocky edges. That thing just can't sit in my hands comfortably, its not curved enough.

I don't care if the dual shock 4 is the same or different it dose not mean that the PS4/ Orbis won't do well. first of all Sony has lots of exclusives and first party support they will go well trust me. 😃

Yeh I hope they stick with the most famous controller of all time. What a weird weird post. I already decided it was stupid after WiiU will win sales wise. That WiiU controller is horrible. It's WAY to big and ugly and is a huge hurdle for me to want the machine. When I get a WiiU I will get the traditional controller and never use that monstrosity that's making its sales low

It looks like the Playstation 4 will use the same boring controller of 18+ years but with a touchpad (which I think is useless for the most part). I have said it before and I will say it again that the console with the novel controller which enables novel gameplay ideas will win the new gen. That's what the mass market wants. That's why I think Wii U will win sales wise. That leaves Microsoft with possibly bringing out something innovative but I doubt it because I don't think they are creative.

Have you ever had anything useful or constructive to say in a thread? I see you in all of my threads with boring hit&run comments but I just recently realized you act like this in every thread you post in.

I think they might redesign the controller a bit, like concave triggers and maybe they'll alter the looks/size/weight a bit - feature wise the biggest difference I can see them include is a backtouchpad like the vita has

while holding the DS you usually have either your middle or your ring fingers (depending on whether you use 2 or 4 fingers for the R/L buttons) at the back of the controllers, so they could be used for some kind of input there
