I honestly dont notice Nintendo fans going at anybody very often. It is mostly Sony fans and MSFT fans that are attacking each other. And on this site the majority would be Sony

You got it all wrong.

They stealth troll Sony all the time to let us know they Sony. I'll poke you when i see a comment like it, Dude!

I just wanna know why they hate Sony and like Microsoft, Man!

Well microsoft fans see sony as the enemy since they are so similar to each other.  I remember when everybody was going crazy over haze and how it was going to be the Halo killer for example.  They have had a big rivalry like that all generation.  Then youhave the XBL vs PSN arguments, what has better graphics, which is the better controllers, what has the better games, etc.  All in honesty all comes down to opinion but they see it as a threat i guess and argue with each other.  Xbox fans doesnt look at nintendo that way.

On the other hand Nintendo and Sony has been a rival for 3 generation and Sony does copy nintendo a lot.  Then Sony fans brag about them and nintendo fans are like hey we already had it, and sony fans are like so ours are better and the cycle continues.   Also Sony's handeld vs Nintendos handhelds are apart of it too.  Sony fans brag about graphics while nintendo fans brag about gameplay.

That is how ive seen it anyways.  Microsoft fans and Sony fans are rivals.  Sony fans and Nintendo fans are rivals.  Microsoft fans and Nintendo fans just hate sony fans, not that they agree with eachother, they just dont like sony fans.

But yeah you can come get me when you see ghost trolling.  ill come and interven XD lol

Almost all of my friends satisfy the section highlighted in bold, so I believe you may be right...

I am Nintendo/Sony which I didn't think was a unique breed on VGChartz.

I don't know what this thread is about. I love Sony. I brought a lot of amazing Sony electronic hardware over the years and I regret the fact I choose a cheaper TV instead of going with a Sony. Console wise, I had a PS2 and I own a PS3. All that said, I think Nintendo's games are better.

Even though it shouldn't be like that, it kind of is.

I don't hate Sony. Ninetendo is for kids. Sony is for grown ups. An Microsoft is a greedy monster trying to drive Sony out of business.

This thread is fucked up, whoever made it can lick my sweaty balls!!

I think the biggest amount of hate is because Sony copied Nintendo so often through history. However, I`ve been moving away from Xbox as my second console and moving towards Playstation based on this last generation.

" Sony copied Nintendo so often through history."

Copy and development of a technology, is not the same as Licencing  and  innovative use of such hardware tech.

that's i think is the real problem:

for instance :

Every company copy's yes even Nintendo!. they infact used Technology they did not even create, because no one company can create it all. Nintendo back in 2001 met with a company that pitched the "idea" of the WiiMote to Nintendo, Nintendo Licenced the technology. while in 2000 a year before DR. Richard Marks was showing Motion control at Siggraph graphic's convention a motion control system that was developed with the PS2. That technology as its core components was not all exclusive Sony created parts, but the concept of how it interacted with a Game console for motion control was unique in its developed software and Hardware for Game console's.

that's what the problem i think in my opinion is that many see it as "let me get my xerox copy machine out, when largly that is not the case at all. I think in my opinion, its largely the perception of "Nintendo did it first" everyone steals Ideas from Nintendo that irks some gamer's and the fact that Nintendo fans look at Innovation as the only real criteria of creative freedom. Not just the Creative use of technology, but the Actual creation of the technology itself is what many Nintendo Fan's i think are pointing finger's at other companies and saying loudly "Copy" when Nintendo themselves did not even make the technology they licenced it.

"Nintendo did not make it, nintendo just made it popular"  Thomas Alva Edison did not invent the light bulb but made a Tweak to the lightbulb that made the bulb better.

Key perceptive view is one company is an inventor! while the other is making a creative use of an invention!

and being just some that "copy's" someone Else's Innovative use of Technology .

so if we take the WiiMote as an example:

while Nintendo Licenced the Wiimote, and designed an innovative use for it's technology

Sony was developing a technology at the time, that was on the same path that the technology that Nintendo Licenced. but here is the thing, at the time the company that pitched the idea of the WiiMote to Nintendo even in early 2001, was just on a cork board and a projector in concept!

The Point I think is based on "Perceptive view" Not based on what it really is.

What matters is not who has an idea first, but who makes it HAPPEN first. There's some perspective view for you.

PSMove began as a solution to tell the Eyetoy exactly where your hand is (idea already known as "MoCap", circa 1995, implemented successfully in many films) since eyetoy had problems collecting positional data depending on such variables as lighting conditions and the simplicity of the wall you were playing in front of.

If the Dualshock 4 is a break-apart motion-sensing controller, will people like me be arguing with people like you in 12 years time about having shit ideas?
