I think, more important than all the hype in the world, will be the cost and if it's expensive, then it's only hurt Sony. If, among all the hype, the cost is not mentioned then i think it would be the time for Sony fans to worry. I get a feeling that the price is going to be a huge factor in this and i can see it being very prohibitive and being hidden among the hype.

This is what i see the problem as being. Hype will be built without price mentioned, then it will be sneaked in at e3, reason being that it's excessive. So if price isn't mentioned initially then that would be something to worry about.

The picture is suppossed to show how Kaz trolled forum goers and those that might have payed strong attention to his statement that Sony would not announce first. I just posted it as a perssonal way to laugh at that.

The success of the PS4 all depends on whether Sony is going to make the same mistake that they've made with the PSP, PS3, and Vita. If they overpower and overprice their console again, the PS4 will fail. The only reason that the PSP and PS3 sold well in the long run is because Sony was able to cut the price, and take major losses, which they cant do anymore.

I don't think it takes away from Nintendo or Microsoft's consoles at all.  Each company will have it's day in the sun.  By March 1st the PS4 news cycle will have died down and all eyes will be on Microsoft to see how/when they're going to announce their system.  In the meantime, both before Feb 20th and after, Nintendo could come out of nowhere with a Nintendo Direct or two to take some attention away.  It's not like less people are going to be interested in other products because Sony is announcing something we all knew was imminently arriving.

exactly, people to relax calling a system that will dominate/destroy the others before even being on the market is the most retarded thing i ever heard! Seriously PS4 will be amazing, Nextbox will be amazing! Wii U will be amazing, all in their own way, People act like Sony is gonna mop the floor with everybody. Wii U will have SSB and that alone will get people hype, MS will get Halo and that alone will have a userbase for them! The only thing that failed and its funny cuz i remember it was to destroy its competition is the Vita, Even though i say wait another year to judge at least we see now Vita with lots of Titles and it didn't go nowhere. People Judging Wii U but dont realize that its doing average and to top it off, there is no software! Wait intill mario 3D and Zelda and SSB to release! God People relax, all 3 systems will do great! Only thing that needs Jesus is the Vita which is ironic (Vita=Life) lol
