So according to EA, videogames began in 1995 confirmed lol.
Honestly though, this really is Nintendo's fault. All they had to do was not skimp out on the hardware, and have a showcase game for launch that proved the Wii U wasn't just a "me too" console when compared to PS360, and everyone's fears in both the industry and gaming community would be quelled.
Instead all we got from Nintendo at launch was one Wii game upscaled in HD, and another gimmicky party game to demonstrate the controller's capabilities, coupled with rushed ports of 3rd party games that still look better than original games made from the ground up for the console like ZombieU.
What should worry Nintendo is that there is absolutely no buzz about their console anymore.... people have practically forgotten its even out in stores. Ninty is going to have a tough time going up against M$ and Sony's E3 hype trains coupled with at least one new console launching this fall with much more impressive hardware to show off.
