Nice work. Did you use vectors or free hand it? I love using vectors because you can so easily modify the shape.

Now that you've learned how to use layers, loook into masks and adjustment layers. They will blow your mind!

Vector and modify. I hardly ever free hand anything simply because I find that too difficult using a mouse.

Masking ey? I will definitely look into to those.

I recently got a Wacom Bamboo tablet and I've found this really good tutorial on how to paint with Photoshop. Unlike all those speed painting videos, this one really show you the basics.

Hopefully, I'll be able to put all these techniques to good use and be able to post some new art here soon.

Unfortunately when I was studying, there weren't as many resources as there are now (especially free ones!). This page would've been a life saver... painting itself and absolute control was a learning curve. There are still things you have to learn on your own. If you have anything as far as painting in PS related questions, just send me a PM... I'll try to answer it.

We should play that game with members avatars...

Nikkom. Two cartoon characters drinking frozen orange juice in the hood. One has black hair and the other has like blond hair and is a girl or something. There is a bloo sky and green fencing.

That above is from a thread a while back. I did that on Microsoft paint of our member Nikkoms avatar. Enjoy!

hahaha! I'm sorry I missed this... I have been busy lately so my attention span is stupid short. I keep missing people's stuff. Anyway, you should post more drawings like this!

When I was in college I worked for the newspaper as the Production Manager. I decided to run a "University Life" type of comic in the style of the classic "The Far Side". I called it Eastward Bound because it took place on a fictionalized Eastern Oregon University campus. After a year I redesigned the series with fixed characters as a roomate comedy comic strip about dorm life. Kind of like an "Odd Couple" with video games and homework.

Here's some of the more video game related ones:

This is simply amazing. My goal was always to make short comics like this.

I like these :) Especially the pony. I'm not a fan of the series, but I like the artwork

I have a preference for Corel Painter, working with an intuos 4. I may post something in here eventually.

I've been using Photoshop for over a decade, but I've been looking for something that would give me more traditional painting tools. Does Corel Painter let you mix paints and use techiques like dry brush and wet brush?
