This. Sony Santamonica alone has been handling three to four games.

things is, other than Uncharted those are all dirt cheap on ebay nowadays and you get 3 games each for the collections so there's really very little risk |
Sounds interesting! I'll have to check it out!!
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
Less is more in this situation. Sony's first party studios are MUCH more talented than Microsoft's studios and create much better games.
Wow intresting, didnt know that but what in fucking hell did they do the last years? Have they only released XBL games?

most definitely. Ratchet has been my favorite franchise ever since I played Going Commando and Jak is pretty awesome as well. Don't judge Ratchet on the first game as it's easily my least favorite until All4one came along. A lot of the series staple aren't there yet (upgrading weapons, health, arena battles, and just the quality of the platforming). I actually started on 2 and it still holds up incredibly. The Jak games are all really different as Jak 1 is very light on combat and much more lighthearted. Jak 2 is kind of gloomy (still has comedy relief) and focuses a lot more on gunplay (no guns in the first) and Jak 3 is my favorite as it adds new powers and evironments along with mini games. |
that's funny because I HATED Ratchet and Clank Going Commando. The 1st Ratchet & Clank is still my favorite with Ratchet & Clank Up Your Arsenal coming in 2nd place.
to each their own i guess

This Type of comment will create a lot of flaming so edit it if you will. Ill even edit mine out if you do. And since we know aboslutely nothing about these studios we really dont know how talented they are do we. I know microsoft did a great job at bringing 343i together and they certainly have the money to help develope and bring in talented developers. They are also listed as one of the best comanies to work for in the world so Id say to hold off on that comment.
This generation yes, but with these developers we really dont know

Since this is a common question in the thread ill post it in the OP. A lot of these studios are studios they have built recently like they did 343i. We dont know what most of them are working on at the moment

But if you're really doing this in the interest of stating facts, why aren't you at least making changes based on some of the suggestions in here? Wikipedia shouldn't be the end-all of your argument.
Sony Online Entertainment is a Sony-owned studio. You can read all about them here if you don't believe me.
You also forgot xDev, the external development studio based in Europe. If you're counting SCE Foster City for Sony and "Redmond Publishing" for Microsoft, I see no reason why they shouldn't be counted.
You're also missing Team Ico & Project Siren. They're housed within Japan Studio, but they're very much their own teams. If you count "Nintendo EAD" as one studio, then I can understand why you'd want to leave those two out. But if you count Nintendo EAD as all the separate teams that they're divided up into, then you should really count Team Ico & Project Siren as separate as well.
Sorry. I know it's not a massive deal, and I don't mind you bringing up this topic, it's produced some interesting discussion. But there have been some points brought up not only by myself but other people regarding Sony's studios that you seem to be continually missing, and I think it's about time you updated the OP/Title. It's not going to make any difference (Microsoft will still have more), but I just don't see why you'd want to base your argument off something which is incorrect.
