This may sound base and harsh but its true none the less.

I don't think people realize just how prevalent steroids in sports are, or aming the general population for that matter.

No, they changed their bodies to make their performance better. They don't deserve the fame and recognition.

But we have Steroid users in there already. It's obvious!

Exactly. So now what? Plus we cannot just keep everyone out. 90 percent took steroids.

Well then they should stop taking steroids! I don't think someone who modifies their body like that should be deemed as "The best football player!" or "Amazing cyclist!" It's just ridiculous.

Best post in this thread.  Fans simply want the best athletes possible, and look the other way while still realizing that their biggest mancrush probably injects roids or IGF-1 ( like I personally do) into arse.

Wah wah wah. Stop it.

These athletes are not just sports players when they join a team, they are INVESTMENTS. Million-dollar investments. The wide majority of your favorite professional athletes are on steroids, masked by prescription bottles. You think they can perform at their high level with just some good night's sleep and a pre-game speech? Ha ha

Some people are genetically gifted physically. Throughout their whole lives they were able to attain muscle mass while adding little fat. This is a rare trait. But if you notice your favorite player, he went from skinny to ripped with no fat in between, or carries a weight on his body that is not usually or easily attained by natural means. Like a 5'7 runningback who is 215 pounds/98 kilos pure muscle at 22. A normal human would be nice and fat, then slim down while gaining muscle mass, but not being quite shredded.

All the athletes are on steroids, but not all are good players. So let the good ones into the Hall of Fame. Do not be so naive.

The way it is these days you might just be shocked to find out how many well known and revered ahletes did in fact use performance enhancing drugs. Should they be allowed? No. But I don't think witch hunting is the right way to go about it.

What was that movie? Any given Sunday? That was the first time I had heard about it in the NFL. Is it legal in the NFL?

No, it's not technically legal but I'm pretty sure that the entire league is on them.  It's just that the league and the fans turn a blind eye to it.

Baseball is different in that I get pissed off seeing Barry Bonds hitting 70 something homers when I know that's not humanly possible.  Sadly, there is a double standard the way that athletes in different sports are judged and I have to admit that I am guilty.
