Doesn't matter Bethesda still involved therefore unplayable on PS platform- Also no DLC for PS version.

You guys don't want this game to come out do you?

sounds like a badass idea to me.  Then Peter Jackson can direct an elder scrolls movie or HBO series (a la Game of Thrones).  LOTR and Elder Scrolls just remind me of each other so much.

On a side note.  Anyone notice how many similarities A Song of Ice and Fire has with Elder Scrolls mythology?  The first men coming from the North and the area therefore feeling independent of the rest of the empire.  The one dragon(born) being left that has powers based around dragons.  The overall vibe just seems the same too, more than just middle ages.  Of course they're both very unique but I feel like Bethesda may be a bunch of George RR Martin fans and taken a lot of inspiration from him.  Also Whiterun looks like Edoras from LOTR haha

Peter Jackson could make a movie named Oblivion, it would be an amazing movie, unlike that other Oblivion movie with Tom Cruise.

I only played 4 and 5 but they would be amazing movies.  Oblivion has such a cool setup and everything but so does Skyrim before they really get to the epic moments.  They really already have a kind of movie format the way they're set up (at least the main quests) and could easily be condensed to fit a movie.

Imagine dragons in a a Skyrim movie.

And now that I think about it, one other similarity between Skyrim and LOTR ( The Hobbit actually) is that both dragons talk, though in Skyrim they have their own language, but still!

I love LOTR but i really want a good Game of Thrones game. Either way would be pretty sweet but make the combat interesting.

Aren't they already making another one?

Not sure but the last one seemed pretty bad and got bashed.

Lame storyline, bad combat and bag graphics.

It would probably have lots of bugs in the PS3 version.

This

To be honest I've lost a ton of respect for Bethesda this gen. Three bad ports in a row for the Ps3 is terrible and to add the Skyrim Dlc mess on top of that? I love their games but until they fix they're stuff, I'm buying used/renting
