...yup. You heard right, Surfer Girl apparently got herself a rival here:
1st bunch:
1) Microsoft will show its motion-sensing addon at the E3 of this July. The peripheral will replace the battery pack of the Xbox 360 controller;
2) Soul Calibur IV will have some exclusive contents on Playstation 3 platform;
3) The firmware 4.00 of the PSP will have Home support;
4) Sony plans to support Skype also on Playstation 3;
5) Gears of War 2 is a reality but it won't see the light until 2009;
6) Nintendo will show at the E3 a "new" version of the Nintendo Wii: it will support 720p resolution, DVD playback and will have also a HDMI port. The price will remain the same of today;
7) Still no plans for a third version of the Nintendo DS;
8) At the end of the year we'll see Haze on Xbox 360 and Splinter Cell ConViction on Playstation 3.
2nd bunch:
About GDC:
1) Phil Harrison will show some exclusive titles for PS3 and PSP, already in development and ready for 2008;
2) There will be a talk about Fumito Ueda games: one will be about the universe of iCO and SOTC, and the other is a brand new title;
3) No Home for Microsoft, just an extension of XNA for young developers;
4) Square-Enix is working on the remake of Final Fantasy VII on PSP console: it will have mixed 2D and 3D graphic.
3rd bunch:
- Metal Gear Portable Ops 2 will be shown at E3 2008, it will be about Big Boss and the starting of Outer Heaven. Temporary release date is fall 2008 in Japan;
- Gears of War 2 will have a framerate of 60fps in closed rooms, while 30fps in the open areas;
- Even though God of War 3 will arrive on PS3 system only in 2009, we'll see a trailer soon (anybody said GDC?);
- There's an Easter Egg in Devil May Cry 4 (Playstation 3 retail version): a teaser of Onimusha 4;
- Gran Turismo 5 Prologue european version will have additional features of the previous japanese release.
Alot of this doesnt really make sense, even though Surfer Girl confirmed that Onimusha 4 (And Dead Rising 2 apparently) is underway, this guy has to prove himself first.
Obviously take a large dose of salt to this.
