Wow, they revised the Operating income forecast from 20,000 Million Yen down to -20,000 Million Yen (Loss)

WiiU HW forecast also slashed down from 5.5 million units to just 4 million units shipped by the end of the fiscal year.
SW sales projections also massively slashed, from 24 million down to 16 million

Alright, Im lost. Net Income is 14545 million yen. Translated to 180 million? Or am I way off?

What were their previous expectations? I think If I remember corectly WiiU was expected to sell 5 or 5.5mil, but I have no idea what the expectations for 3DS were.

I'm shocked how well the DS is still doing in the "Americas"

It does kinda put it into perspective though where Nintendo (and Sony) sit compared to the likes of Microsoft ($6.4 billion profit) and Apple ($20+ billion profit) for the same quarter, lol.


Nintendo Gross Profit is 127,251 million yen.

Convert that to dollars and you have your answer.

If you want Net income is 14,545 million yen.  Again convert.

Gross Profit = $1.4 billion U.S

Net Income = $160 million U.S

But as I said earlier Gross profit is kind of a pointless number.  Operating Income is more important.

Guys, Net Income of 160 million is for the Q1 up to Q3. Hence, they have posted profits of 450 million this quarter because of the 300 million losses of Q1 and Q2.

No they haven't. They announced an increase to 14,000 million yen ;)
