I'd be okay if it came out on PS4. Hopefully as exclusive though. Honestly, I'd like if they changed the name from FF versus XIII to FFXV. I feel the XIII name alone would drive away some potential buyers.

12 came out before the ps3 came out. I guess technically the 360 was out then, but at this point in time final fantasy was exclusive to playstation...

Also, it isn't that hard to put together a trailer, doesn't mean the game is that far along, just that they put effort into making a trailer...

It'll end up on the Wii.

You read that right. Not the Wii U, the Wii.

OK, seriously, I could see it turning up on the Wii U, and perhaps also the other 8th generation systems (or perhaps Wii U and PS3). Nintendo has already managed to get Square Enix to make Dragon Quest a Nintendo exclusive, it's not too much of a stretch to imagine them supporting the Wii U with Final Fantasy going forwards, especially given how suited the Wii U is to RPG controls.

Ok, it was before PS3, but I still don't think it matters that much, VXIII could still release before the PS4. Also, God of War II came out in 2007.

As for the trailer, it was 7 minutes long and featured a lot of in-game cutscene and gameplay, I would say that's pretty far into development. It was far more than just a CGI trailer.
