Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo scores high marks in customer satisfaction

I'm surprised by these results though. I mean Nintendo's hardware has always satisfied me most due to the size, reliability, etc. but recently with all the hate on the actual tech that goes into them... I thought it'd be much lower.

Sony TVs aren't as good as they once were, so I have a feeling that's why Sony's isn't higher. Apple's products frankly suck when it comes to reliability and value, they'd be much lower for me.

(Seriously though, Nintendo is one of those companies where dedicated fans of said company make up a huge part of these surveys. Anyone can own a Sony device, for instance.)



Nothing to be surprised about. Nintendo's Customer Service is amazing.

I can personally vouch for their score. I had perfect customer service when I called them about an issue for my Wii. There was absolutely no hassle.

According to Customerservicescoreboard.com, Nintendo is #4.  I don't really know how they're getting these results, but I think it is hard to really determine where companies rank considering not everyone even is going to have association with those companies.  Some are underrepresented, some are overrepresented.  However, what it does seem like is that regardless of the source, Nintendo does tend to rank pretty high.  So there's really no confirmation about that bias at all.

Also, dedicated fans of certain companies happen all the time.  There's definitely those for Steam, Sony, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, etc.  They exist and there are plenty of them.   So your assumption is equally valid for most, if not all, companies listed.



I can't imagine the number of people that have to interact with Nintendo's customer service.... Hm.
Am I in the minority when I say I've owned Nintendo consoles for 15 years and I've never had to call in for an issue... Because my Nintendo consoles have always been copacetic. .
