All this wouldn't be happening if Nintendo Wii games wouldn't be region locked. 30 Euro for a new copy of the game around here.

Yeah. Kinda sucks that the NA version is literally THE SAME THING as the PAL version.

Seriously, they didn't change ANYTHING.

Wy doesn't Nintendo just make more copies of these games (MP Triliogy and others included)? The Wii's still selling, and probaby will for years to come. Obviously there are people who want these games, hence the high prices. They must not like teh moneys.

Metroid Prime Trilogy was meant to be a collectors item.  It has a nice metal case with a plastic slip cover.  It also has some nice artwork inside.  I am ok with that being a limited release.

Xenoblade?  That was just stupid.  They could have also followed up Trilogy with a non-collectors edition too.

Why doesn't Nintendo just make more copies?

Because Nintendo doesn't know what people want apparently.

Gotta love that they put out quality software but I really question their business decisions.

My point exactly (@ bolded).

Also, here in Europe, we didn't get any of the 'special edition' MP Trilogy stuff. Over here it was simply a regular Wii game case, with a flabby piece of very thin cardboard around it. Although it did have the letters 'Collector's Edition' printed on it!

The price for this game is ridiculous. Thanks for nothing, Nintendo. :(

UPDATE

The price of Xenoblade seems to have stabilized, at a $99.99 price for used and a $179.99 for new. (Amazon)

Meanwhile, Metroid Prime Trilogy has a used price from $88.99 and new price of $169.99 (Amazon)

Looks like we can safely say that Xenoblade is now the most expensive Wii game. (At least in NA)

Quite a big feat for such an unknown game.

60 dollars with free shipping here in Brazil.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

This is why region lock needs to die.
