Didn't Animal Crossing New Leaf sell over 2 Million last year?

What this aptly demonstrates is that Nintendo needs to kill PS3 in Japan. Like now.

On another note, I can't believe Vita outsold Wii U this year. Just shows how ridiculous those Nintendo fanboys are. The Vita is about to explode; the Wii U, on the other hand...

You're surprised that a system that was out for a full calander year outsold one that was available for a month..?

Not sure if serious or...

Never mind. I thought AC crossed 2 million.

WiiU's launch was incredibly front-loaded. It's fallen behind Vita's pace in Japan now, in weekly sales. I don't see that changing until a price cut

I'm not actually bothering with a serious argument, you know. Just trying my hand at trolling. :P

Anyway, do you really think I can't look at the numbers for myself? If we're comparing launch-aligned exactly, the Vita was being propped up by some strong releases for a few weeks at this point. And, if you'll notice, this effect doesn't last for long, with Vita hitting 10k pretty soon. Since Wii U's sales aren't temporarily propped up at the moment, it's unlikely to fall as low.

This is a little pointless considering I pretty much agree with you here, though. The fact that Wii U's pace is even comparable to Vita's at this point in time shows just how much trouble it's in.

I think PS3 will catch up with wii sales LTD in Japan.
Nintendomination as usual in Software sales.

Looks like they like Animal Crossing more now than Pokemon (or at least Animal Crossing is outpacing it).

Pokemon is a million ahead

and it was released on a dead console *in japan*

No way will animal crossing get even close.
